Commissions!!

Sun Sep 20, 2009, 12:56 PM
All info should be found here: [link]

+$10/per additional character!

THE BREAKDOWN:

Try to keep things PG-13 or lower and clearly describe what you’d like in the piece. I will do nude poses but no sex or anything blatantly suggestive! Any links, references, or examples will only aid me..ie, the more information I have the easier it will be to get you what you want. Only minor changes may be requested of a finished piece upon completion (and I do mean minor..if it seems like it would take a lot to change to you, please don’t ask). I will send you a rough proof sketch prior to beginning the final piece. Payments must be sent in advance. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for the turnaround.

Final Product Use and Permissions:

If you want to post to other sites please ask me prior and give credit where credit is due. If these are your characters or designs, you own them, however, again, please give credit for the creation of the piece itself. This will protect the artwork itself for both of us. Basically, this piece may not be used to promote or sell anything unless otherwise discussed between you and I.

Commissions will be completed in the order they are received. Only doing 6 to begin with. Note me to ask. Again, all info should be found here: [link]

PAYMENT:

I am only accepting payment through Paypal. This is super easy guys! You don't have to have an account with them to send money. I will note or email you my Paypal address, and you can send the money on the Paypal site. This works the same as any other online checkout. Apologies, but no refunds. Again, payment MUST be received in advance of creation of the piece. Thanks!

Death of an Icon

Fri Jun 26, 2009, 5:23 PM
So I know everyone else has written journal entries about MJ...and I wasn't going to, but then I figured..This is MY journal..I can write whatever the hell I want!

At any rate, I'm not the preachy type, and I know people get turned off by the preachy types because I do. I won't say what people should and shouldn't have done for/to Michael Jackson in order for him to have lived a more rewarding life on a personal level, but I will say this...
For every person who says that they are not affected by this in some way, you have to be ignorant or stubborn...which is fine, I'm just pointing it out to you (and I'm not talking about crying your eyes out and balling up on the floor in the fetal position..simply affected is all)..and if you take offense to this, you are exactly of whom I speak. No one should have to say what an incredible human being MJ was because guess what, everyone on the planet knows the name.

From the hardest gangsta in the hood, to the most feeble of children...we've all been affected by this man. Trust me, I'm the first to crack wise about almost any topic, but if you're making jokes this soon for the sake of slandering the name..what's that all about?

I used to say this about super prominent figures in the world: "People like Michael Jackson, James Brown, Elvis Presley, etc, should have checked out in their prime in order to maintain their good names", and of course no, I wouldn't in actuality want them gone by any means, but it seems that for people who entertained the world to such a ridiculously phenomenal extent, they just got slammed later on in life...

...at any given point in time I think we, as people, need to feel that there is someone amongst us that is just beyond us personally... as a form of mental security, in a way, that there is someone out there thinking beyond the norm for the greater good...
to me, that person is gone now...

5,000 Page Views!!!

Mon Feb 9, 2009, 5:52 AM
Well it's 5,007 now, but I just really wanted to take a second to thank you guys so much for checking me out here on DA. Had I known there were so many awesome artists and art lovers on here prior, I might have started posting and doing commissions way back when I first started an account in 2005, but here we are. Thanks again, seriously! If I can get a sec I will post a special 5,000 page views piece just for you guys. As a guy who honestly just loves to draw and create I feel privileged to have had 5,000 people I don't even know view my work! Thanks again, and again!
Cheers,
~Chad

Magazine Cover Faixa Preta

Mon Feb 2, 2009, 2:08 AM
So I don't know how many of you are Brazilian out there, but I've been writing and drawing a comic in collaboration with John Machado (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Master) and Creative Impulse Entertainment, dealing with the story of a kid from Rio de Janeiro entitled Faixa Preta (The Black Belt). Brazil Explore Magazine recently published an article about it written by my friend Edward Pollard (writer and managing editor for Black Belt Magazine). The Cover of issue one of the comic is the cover of the magazine as well(pretty cool!) I just wanted to put you guys on notice, and thanks a load for the continued support of my work and for viewing my gallery here on DA, Cheers to all of you and if I've neglected to thank you personally(I do try to make an effort) consider this a special thanks!
